Artists have consirably more freedom in combining glass for windows and panels.

The panel below combines the bright and organic Youghiogheny water dragon with machine-made Waterglass from Spectrum.

This simple geometric lampshade exploits bold Bullseye green ring mottle glass as a border accent, and makes use of clear herringbone ripple in lieu of the bevels stipulated by the pattern. Plain white and clear Spectrum streaky makes up the rest, and its plainness provides the desired contrast to bring out the mottled and the textured accents.

The smaller a piece of glass is, the darker it will appear. This effect can be countered by using glass known for its brightness. In the example below, small white pieces were made using Youghiogheny SP-1000.
