ART OF STAINED GLASS HOW TO SOLDER STAINED GLASS Tin the outer edges. "Tin" means laying down a thin coat of solder. Make sure to cover all copper foil.  Install Hooks There are many ways to install hooks depending on the project. I want to make this one a windchime topper, so hooks above and below are needed. There is a lead line running down the middle, so I can use it for support without worrying about foil lifting.  Reinforce the edges Solder copper wire around the edges  |
